The Claremont Area Chapter of The Links, Incorporated is small but mighty in the work done in the areas of both friendship and service. This service year we are concentrating on enhancing sisterhood within our Chapter and on increasing our numbers by inviting women with the needed qualifications and attributes necessary to strengthen our service and our sisterhood to join our organization.
The legacy of service and friendship within The Links, Incorporated is always considered when events and activities are planned.
The friendship event conducted in November, Friendship Month, is a focus. Other events designed to enhance friendship are conducted throughout the year. The Chapter has a book club, friendship meals at each meeting, an annual Christmas party that includes Connecting Links and a tea, The Room Full of Sisters, an event that includes women from our community and recognizes one or two community leaders each year. Additionally, specific events are conducted to network with community women, including those who may be invited to membership. Recently, the Chapter hosted a Cocktails and Conversations evening for this purpose.
We believe that if friendship is a journey our Chapter is well on the way.
