Transforming Communities Through Friendship and Service
The Claremont Area (CA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated welcomes you to our official website. We invite you to explore our programs, initiatives, and the impactful services our members provide both locally and globally.
Chartered in 1985, the Claremont Area (CA) Chapter proudly serves as part of The Links, Incorporated, one of the nation’s oldest and largest volunteer service organizations composed of professional women of African descent. Our chapter was founded on the principles of friendship and service—values that continue to guide our mission and strengthen our community engagement.
As members of a network of distinguished women, we collectively contribute more than one million documented service hours each year, advancing programs that support education, health, civic engagement, and cultural enrichment.
We encourage you to visit our website often to learn more about our ongoing initiatives, community partnerships, and upcoming events. We also welcome new friends and supporters—please contact us for more information about our service projects and fundraising efforts.

Dr. Me! is a Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) enrichment program designed to expose elementary school-aged African American children, in grades Kindergarten-Sixth (K-6), to
careers in healthcare, emphasizing medical science, ultimately including but not limited to dentistry, nursing, and research.
Dr. Me! incorporates the use of role-playing, fun interactive hands-on curriculum designed to actively engage young African American minds letting them know that careers in the medical field are not only exciting, but achievable.
Dr. Me! gives insight to healthcare contributions made by Black physicians, researchers, and other medical professionals and motivate them to succeed.
The Claremont Area (CA) Chapter and San Bernardino Valley (CA) Chapter coordinated their walk at Almeria Park in Fontana CA. What a blast we all had.
Walk for Healthy Living Impact Day brought together members, families, and community partners in a spirit of wellness, unity, and purpose. Participants joined in promoting healthier lifestyles by walking side by side, encouraging one another, and raising awareness about the importance of daily physical activity. Beyond the steps taken, the day fostered fellowship, strengthened community connections, and inspired participants to commit to ongoing habits that support mind, body, and spirit. This impactful event served not only as a call to healthier living but also as a celebration of collective action toward a stronger, more vibrant community.
As we walked, we introduced ourselves to other people in the community walking and gave them a QR Code to check on their voter registration and to make sure all information was correct.
